VOLUNTEER PROMOTION POLICY

The GPKSA would like to acknowledge the commitment of its volunteers and recognizes that the Club could not operate effectively without the invaluable contribution of its hundreds of dedicated volunteers.

Each year, the CA will organize an evening in honor of all of the volunteers.  A special award will be given to a volunteer that has gone above and beyond. 

The new Volunteering Incentive Program provides discounts (registration credit) the terms are defined below:

Recreation teams:

Each coach and / or manager of a recreational team may claim a shared discount of 50% of the cost of a registration; the discount is applicable to the registration fee. The total rebate per team cannot exceed 50% of the cost of a registration and is divisible between the Coach and Manager. 

Inter-city teams:

Each manager of a competitive team may claim a discount equivalent to 50% of the cost of a registration of inter-city level, payable as a credit on registration. The discount is not divisible.

• Inter-City Coaches are not eligible for the 50% discount on registration fees, as they receive separate compensation per season. 
• These discounts cannot be combined with another promotion / gratuity.
• The largest discount will apply on the lowest registration fee.

All discounts are applicable on cost of registration fees excluding the cost of uniforms. 

The discounts apply to categories from U3 to U21.
